Meet Dr. Lombardo
For more than two decades, Dr. Gregg Lombardo has provided compassionate, state-of-the-art oral and maxillofacial surgical care to patients throughout Wilmington and southeastern North Carolina. As a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Lombardo is committed to combining advanced surgical expertise with personalized care to help every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout treatment.
Born and raised in Glastonbury, Connecticut, Dr. Lombardo earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He continued his advanced education through extensive hospital-based training, including positions at Carolinas Medical Center, The Ohio State University, and Louisiana State University, before completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at West Virginia University. He opened his Wilmington practice in 2003 and has proudly served the coastal North Carolina community ever since.
Dr. Lombardo is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has served as an adjunct clinical professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His professional interests include dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, dentoalveolar surgery, and advanced surgical procedures designed to restore comfort, function, and confidence.

Outside the office, Dr. Lombardo enjoys music and playing guitar and has performed with local rock bands for many years. He and his wife, Susan, are proud to call Wilmington home and value being part of a community they have served for over twenty years.
